The Crysta Dentin Conditioner (30021) from Prevest DenPro is a gentle 10% polyacrylic acid solution that is intended to condition and eliminate the dentinal smear layer. This strengthens the connection between the dentin and glass ionomer cement, which makes it a crucial part of restorative dentistry. In order to ensure better adhesion for glass ionomer cements, the mild formulation efficiently precondition dentin without generating significant demineralization. Before applying glass ionomer cements, it is recommended for the elimination of the dentinal smear layer and dentin conditioning.
The product comes with an instruction booklet and is packed in a 10 ml liquid container. To preserve the integrity of the product, it should be stored between 10°C and 24°C, away from moisture, and the cap should be well closed after use. If maintained properly, the product remains stable after opening and has a three-year shelf life from the date of manufacturing. Although it might occasionally cause sensitivity in certain people, Crysta Dentin Conditioner is typically safe to use. Rinse with water right away if it comes into contact with the eyes, skin, or oral tissues, and get medical help if needed. For optimal results, always follow the manufacturer's directions and precautions.
