Fluorotop APF is a topical anti-caries gel containing 1.23% fluoride ion from sodium fluoride. It features a pH of 3.85, optimized for rapid and effective treatment. The gel's thixotropic properties ensure close adherence to enamel and interproximal areas, enhancing fluoride uptake. It includes xylitol, a proven anti-caries agent, and is available in patient-friendly flavors like strawberry, eliminating any bitter taste.

Indications: Topical application of fluoride to aid in the protection against dental caries. 

Benefits:

  • Prevents demineralization of tooth.

  • Promotes re-mineralization for caries protection and prevention.

  • High fluidity for easy and quick application.

Usage Instructions:

  1. Complete prophylaxis and remove excess fluid from tooth surfaces.

  2. Shake well before use.

  3. Fill applicator tray with 4–8 grams of gel.

  4. Insert tray into patient's mouth; instruct to bite down gently for 4 minutes.

  5. Remove tray; ask patient to expectorate residual gel.

  6. Instruct patient not to rinse, eat, or drink for 30 minutes post-application.

  7. Repeat treatment once or twice a year; for patients with active caries, repeat every six months.
