Description
For direct restorative procedures, especially in anterior and posterior teeth, Cention® Forte is a self-curing, radiopaque filling material. Depending on the needs of the clinician, it also provides the option of light-curing. Belonging to the alkasite material group, Cention® Forte is considered a superior alternative to glass ionomers and a better substitute for amalgam due to its simplified application protocol, high flexural strength, and tooth-colored aesthetics.
Features:
Aesthetic Appearance: Cention Forte has a high translucency of about 11% and is available in a natural tooth color. According to clinical studies, 90% of patients gave Cention Forte's functional and aesthetic outcomes a rating of "good" to "excellent."
Durability: Cention Forte is ideal for long-lasting Class I and Class II restorations because of its high flexural strength, which makes it extremely resistant to fractures.
Bioactive Properties: The hydroxide, calcium, and fluoride ions released by Cention Forte help to preserve the tooth's structure and promote remineralization. Additionally, it prevents demineralization of the tooth structure by controlling pH during acid attacks.
