Description

Consed 2.0 Conscious Sedation Machine, Nitrous Oxide Machine, Laughing Gas Machine

FAIL-PROOF SAFETY FEATURES

We have incorporated a whole host of features into our ConSed systems, to ensure total control
for the healthcare team and in turn, absolute safety for the patient undergoing the procedure.

OXYGEN FAIL SAFETY SYSTEM
Should an Oxygen supply failure occur during a procedure, Nitrous Oxide supply will be immediately interrupted. Needless
to mention, it is impossible to
administrate Nitrous Oxide without the Oxygen supply.

NITROUS OXIDE - LIMITER
A patient will never get an over dose on Nitrous Oxide. ConSed machines are equipped with a maximum limit of Nitrous Oxide emission. The maximum N2O for sedation is 70%. As a result, the patient will be supplied at least 30% Oxygen (room air 20.5% Oxygen).

NO CONFUSION OF GAS TYPES
For trained medical personnel, it is impossible to confuse between the gas types, as all connections of the ConSed have different and clearly identifiable color codes.

AUTOMATIC ASPIRATION OF FRESH AIR
On the extremely rare occasion that a breathing bag becomes empty and contracted, it immediately opens a valve to the environment to provide fresh air to the patient.

NON-REBREATHING VALVE
It is impossible to breathe back into the breathing bag as it is prevented by a check valve. This will not cause CO2 poisoning.

OXYGEN FLUSH
An integrated Oxygen flush button conveniently located on the front part of the machine facilitates an immediate 20LPM Oxygen flow to the patient.

DIAMETER-INDEX SAFETY SYSTEM (DISS)
A system of standardized connections exists between cylinders of medical gases and flow meters or pressure regulators. Each gas line has connections of specific sizes to prevent accidental hookups of the wrong gas.

PIN-INDEX SAFETY SYSTEM (PISS)
The Pin-Index Safety System (PISS) is a precise configuration of pins and holes that facilitate the connection between a specific medical gas cylinder and the delivery system of these gases.
